Obtenir les visas pour l’Inde, la Thaïlande, le Laos, La Chine, HK et l’Australie fut assez « amusant »…

That was quite « fun » to get all the Visas to India, Thailand, Lao, China, HK and Australia…

India:
Pour la demande de visa il faut impérativement passer par une agence et non pas par le consulat, je me suis donc rendu au comptoir de la société VF Services (UK) Limited – 42-44 rue de Paradis 75010 PARIS – muni des documents suivants : mon passeport, un formulaire téléchargé en ligne et dûment rempli, 2 photos d’identité, une photocopie de mon passeport et 50€ pour le visa + 14€ de commission.
J’ai pû découper et coller mes photos sur place, et j’ai payé en déposant ma demande.
une semaine après j’avais mon visa dans mon passeport.

To get the visa from France, you have to go to a visa agency instead of going directly to the consulate, so I went to VF Services (UK) Limited – 42-44 rue de Paradis 75010 PARIS – with the following items: my passport, the form downloaded online, printed and filled, 2 ID pictures, aphotocopy of my passport and €50 for the visa + €14 as fees.
There I was able to cut and glue my picts on the form, and I paid for the visa when I gave the form.
I got my visa the following week.

Thailand:
En tant que Français, je n’ai pas besoin de visa…

Because I’m French, I don’t need any visa…

Lao:
Depuis la France, ce visa coûte 50€, mais si je l’achète directement à la frontière, il ne coûte que 30$ US…

From France, this visa would cost me €50, but I can buy it directly at the border for US$30…

China:
La demande peut se faire directement au consulat – 18-20 Rue Washington 75008 Paris – en se munissant des documents suivants : son passeport, un formulaire (qu’on trouve sur place) rempli, une photo d’identité, une réservation d’avion aller-retour pour la Chine, une reservation d’hotel (ou une attestation d’hebergement sur place avec les identité des hebergeurs), et il vous en coûtera 35€ (pour la région du Yunnan) le jour où vous récupérez votre passeport avec le visa collé dedans.
les deux petits hics pour moi étaient que je comptais arriver en bus depuis le Laos et repartir en train jusqu’à HK… le tout sans réellement savoir où je dormirai.
Pour le billet d’avion, voici l’astuce : j’ai fait une réservation en ligne, et avant la page de paiement, quand il y a le résumé du vol avec mon nom, j’ai imprimé la partie de la page qui pouvait faire croire à une rconfirmation de réservation.
Et pour l’hébergement, j’ai réservé un lit dans un dortoir d’auberge de jeunesse pour 0.27€.
et j’ai obtenu mon visa sans soucis…
En fait, mon droit d’entrée au Yunnan est valable 3 mois après le demande du visa, puis je peux rester 60 jours là-bas…

You can ask for it directly at the consulate – 18-20 Rue Washington 75008 Paris – going there with your passport, a filled form (you get it at the consulate), one ID picture, a round trip plane ticket, a hotel booking, and it costs you €35 (for the Yunnan) the day you have your passport back with the visa sticked in it.
The problems for me were that I’ll arrive by bus from Lao and leave by bus to HK, and the other one is I didn’t know where i could sleep there.
For the Plane ticket, I started to book one online, and I printed the part of the booking summary page with the flight and my name, just before the payment page.
And for the accomodation booking, I booked a bed in a dormitory for €0.27.
And I got my visa…
The point is I’m allowed to go to Yunnan only within 3 month after I asked for my visa, then I can stay for 60 days…

Hong Kong:
En tant que Français, je n’ai pas besoin de visa…

Because I’m French, I don’t need any visa…

Australia:
Très facile celui-ci, je l’ai acheté en ligne sur action-visas.com pour 27€, puis je l’ai reçu par email la semaine suivante.
J’ai donc 1 an pour entrer sur le territoire Australien, et le droit d’y séjourner 90 jours.

This one was an easy one, I booked it online on action-visas.com for €27, then I received it by email the week after.
So I can arrive in Australia within a year and stay there for 90 days then.
