Kashmir – trek

Une ballade de Naranag a Gangabal, en passant par Sangdi et la riviere Sangrem, la montagne Marchui, Shadmarg, Trunkhul (5 heures de grimpette), les lacs Ganga, la neige, les glaciers, le lac Ouslar, Bleibhatri, Lunwaaz, et le fabuleux Harimukh…
10 days and 9 nights in the moutains of Kashmir, with my guide, Gh Rasool Rather a.k.a. Captain or Captain Gonzo, and Aslam, the ponyman.
A nice hike from Naranag to Gangabal, passin by Sangdi and the Sangrem river, Marchui moutain, Shadmarg, Trunkhul (5 hours to climb), the Ganga lakes, the snow, the glaciers, Ouslar lake, Bleibhatri, Lunwaaz, and the fabulous Harimukh…

Le matin, vers 5 heures, quand le soleil se leve, des dizaines de barques arrivent au meme endroit pour acheter et vendre les legumes recoltes la veille… Ca crie, ca rigole, des accords se font, les billets s’echanges contre de la marchandise… c’est un peu comme si on transportait Rungis a Bruges (ou a Venise)…
At 5 am, when the sun starts to unlight the lake, the boats are coming from everywhere to trade the fresh vegetables… People are shouting, laughing, some deals are made, they swap bank notes and vegetables…
