Le matin, vers 5 heures, quand le soleil se leve, des dizaines de barques arrivent au meme endroit pour acheter et vendre les legumes recoltes la veille… Ca crie, ca rigole, des accords se font, les billets s’echanges contre de la marchandise… c’est un peu comme si on transportait Rungis a Bruges (ou a Venise)…
At 5 am, when the sun starts to unlight the lake, the boats are coming from everywhere to trade the fresh vegetables… People are shouting, laughing, some deals are made, they swap bank notes and vegetables…

J’ai passe la journee avec Farooq, une partie de sa famille et Captain Gonzo (!)… Une ballade dans la campagne nous a amene au village de Wahidan pour le dejeuner.
Ensuite nous sommes alles a Bokat pour qu’ils rencontrent le Holiman de la famille.
Pendant 1h30, je suis reste a l’exterieur ou deux femmes construisaient un four en terre… J’ai essaye d’etablir un contact avec les enfants dabord en dessinant, puis en modelant un chat en terre, on a passe un bon moment a creer des personnages, des animaux…
I spent the day with Farooq, a part of his family and Captain Gonzo (!)…
We drove through the countryside to have a lunch in the small village of Wahidan.
Then we went to Bokat, where they had to meet the family Holiman.
I spent 1 hour and half out of the house, where two women were building an oven with clay… I tried to create a contact with the children, first by drawing and painting, then by modeling the clay to create a cat, the children and I created then some other animals and characters, what a nice moment we had together…

En arrivant a Srinagar, une personne m’attendait avec mon prenom sur une feuille de papier… 10 minutes de voiture et 15 de bateau a rame (shikara) plus tard nous arrivons au Appolo 8…
When the bus finally arrived in Srinagar, someone was waiting for me, my first name written on a piece of paper… after 10 minutes in a car and 15 more on a paddled boat (shikara), we reached the Appolo 8…

J’ai opte pour un siege au lieu d’une couchette, c’est l’un ou l’autre et je ne me voyais pas passer 26 heures allonge…
Le voyage c’est bien passe, et j’ai pu m’accoutumer au tchae (the au lait).
I took a seat instead of a sleep, this one or the other but i couldn’t figure out to lay down all the 26 hours of the journey…
The trip wasn’t bad, and I had time enough to appreciate the tchae (tea + milk).

En arrivant des le matin a Delhi, il ne m’a pas fallu longtemps pour m’appercevoir que la mentalite ici est de voler l’argent des touristes !
Personne n’est la pour vous conseiller, vous n’avez d’autre choix que de les suivre, et payer pour ca…
Je n’ai pu trouver un ticket pour Manali, alors j’ai saute dans un bus pour Srinagar (Kashmir).
I arrived in the morning and realized quickly that this city is made to steal the money from the tourists!
Nobody gives you any advices, you just have to pay to go where they want you to go…
I wasn’t able to find a bus to Manali, so I took one for Srinagar (Kashmir).
